a group of people who bowl about as often as we feature xylophone
solos, we sure do like King's. This Wednesday, 4/11, we're back
at King's bowling alley in Back Bay. Not everyone associates this
place with live music, but they have a stage and good sound system and
a cool vibe going on. We dig it, anyway. Best part?
No cover. So please, come on out this Wednesday and hear one of
this city's most exciting, original bands. I promise we won't disappoint.
Also, be sure to check out our myspace page for live cuts from recent
shows as well as our recent radio performance on Tufts radio 91.5 and
more shots our ugly mugs than any one person should ever subject
Lots of other great gigs coming up this month, including a Pre-Marathon Bash at Sweetwater on Sunday, 4/15, and a Friday night show at Roggie's
in Chestnut Hill on 4/20 with our friends Ithmus and The Lisps.
We're back in NYC at Banjo Jim's on Saturday, 4/28. Hope to see you all
back for that one; last month's gig there with our buds Yarn was among our recent
faves. Those East Village folks know how to have some fun...
Look for us at Caffe Lena in beautiful Saratoga, NY on Friday, 7/27. This will be JH's debut at the legendary folk
venue. Tickets on sale now. Lena's is an intimate venue;
seating is limited--call 518-583-0022 x92 to reserve your seat.
(And psst...plans for our next record already in the works for a
late-summer release, and look for us to head south in August...)
New material, more shows, a few festivals in the works; lots of
exciting stuff happening for us--check back for all the latest Jo
Henley news. And, as always, a huge HUGE thanks to all of you who
come out to support our music and our vision.
